Stoker Consignment Software Downloads
DOWNLOAD 30-DAY FREE TRIALYou can download a copy of the Stoker Consignment software by clicking on one of the two links below. The file is very large and so you should not attempt to download it over a slow dial up line. The application is written in Access 2000, if you have Access 2000 installed on your machine AND the machine is running something other than XP, make sure you download the correct version from the list below (you want the one labeled StokerNoRt.Exe) Once you download the file, put it in a folder where you are sure to find it (we recommend c:\stoker or any temporary folder that you normally use). The file is a self extracting ZIP file. Once the download is complete, you can start the installation process one of 2 ways: 1. You can just choose the option to "open" the file you just downloaded from the 'download dialogue box'. OR 2. Find the newly downloaded file on your hard-drive and then double click it (it is named Stoker.EXE or StokerNoRt.exe). Either way, the installation of the Stoker Consignment Application will automatically start after the 'extracting' process completes. When the installation is complete, you will have an icon on your desktop for running the Stoker Consignment application. After you have the application installed, you can safely delete the files that were placed onto your machine during the installation process. If you used our suggestion of placing the files in a folder c:\stoker, then the entire folder may be deleted. IMPORTANT! You may use the employee number 0 and password "admin" when you are prompted to log on to the application (you may want to write this down). If you have Access installed on your machine, you will probably have to remove it! We normally mail our a short introductory pamphlet on how to get started, but since you're downloading the application we have created a brief text document for you to use. This short document isn't necessarily pretty because it is just a plain text document, but it is very useful to most people. If you have Microsoft Word on your computer, then you can download the Word document below and it will look a lot better. NOTE: Both of these files are included when you download the application (both Stoker.exe and Stokerxp.exe), they are named DemoTutorial.doc and DemoTutorial.txt. To Download/Demo Tutorial in plain text format click here To Download/Demo Tutorial in Word format click here DOWNLOAD USER'S MANUALYou can download a copy of the Stoker Consignment user's manual (in a self extracting EXE format), which will be viewable from any Acrobat reader. Please download the file to any folder on your machine, then find that file and double click it to extract the manual to your machine. Once the file is extracted, you can view it by double clicking it with your mouse if you have an Acrobat reader installed.. To Download/ConsignManual.exe click here Note: This should only be downloaded IF you are a current Stoker customer. The most current release of the Stoker Consignment software is version 4.41o and is obtainable by calling us, sending us an email message or clicking on the download button below. The following download is not the complete Stoker Application, it is the ConsignForms only and is available for anyone that is running version 4.1 or greater. You should NOT download this if you are running a version prior to 4.1 because it will NOT work for you. To find out what version you are running, start the Stoker Application and then click on Help and then choose "About Stoker Consignment." The version number for the Forms must be 4.1 or greater in order for this download to work for you. If you have a version prior to 4.1, you need to contact us in order to get the latest version that is correct for you. You should make a back up copy of the existing file ConsignForm.mdb on your machine prior to installing this downloaded copy. To install the downloaded copy, place the download into the folder "c:\consign" (or where ever your default consignment folder is) and then open it (the filename is ConsignForms.EXE). When you restart your Stoker Consignment application, the automatic upgrade process will execute. Very IMPORTANT!! After your download has finished, you will have to update your Report Printers in order to ensure that everything will print properly. This only takes a minute. 1. Go to the System Setup and click on the Report Printers form. 2. First, let’s do the labels that you print. Scroll down through the different type of reports until the type of label that you use is highlighted. Note: If you do not remember the type of label you are using, go to the System Setup switchboard and click on the Company form. Click on the Consignment tab. In the field labeled Label Type to Print is the type of label you are using. 3. After the correct Label is highlighted in the Report Printers form, click Update. 4. Repeat steps 1 through 3 for the following reports that you use. The name before the colon is the report name you will highlight in the scroll down field.
To Download/ConsignForms.exe for ALL Window's versions, click here Download Printer Drivers for STAR, Eltron or Zebra Neither Eltron nor STAR send the printer drivers out with their printers on a regular basis, this leaves the end user the task of hunting down the drivers. Basically if you go and search the web for either STAR printer drivers or Eltron printer drivers, you will get many hits. The Stoker Group has put 3 sets of drivers that you can retrieve from our web site to use with your printer. We have had very good results with both sets, but we do not support these files we merely put them out here for your convenience. Once you have the drivers, please install the STAR SP212 Receipt (not the ticket) printer. There are some additional configuration options that should be set on the STAR printer in order for it to work correctly, you get to these options by looking at the printer's properties. The settings to look for and the values that you should use are: One additional note about the STAR printer regarding cash drawers. If you have a cash drawer and you want it to open automatically when a receipt is printed, then you must plug the 'phone like' cable that came with the cash drawer into the bottom of the STAR printer and then into the back of the cash drawer. If you can not find where to plug the cable into on the bottom of the STAR printer, then it may be covered by a little cap (usually black) that must be removed in order to expose the connection. The Zebra printer is more straight forward, you can just install it and it should be ready for use. |
